Trimac Dispatcher from Sarnia Named Ontario Dispatcher of the Year for 2006

Honour Goes to Ben O’Hara of Trimac Transportation Services Inc.

(Toronto: Nov. 17, 2005) -- Cancom Tracking in partnership with the Ontario Trucking Association today named Ben O’Hara, a dispatcher based in Sarnia with Trimac Transportation Services Inc., Ontario’s 2006 OTA/Cancom Dispatcher of the Year. The award during a breakfast ceremony today at the Ontario Trucking Association’s 80th annual convention (Nov. 16-17) held at the Toronto Congress Centre.
The award, sponsored by Cancom Tracking, goes to a dispatcher who has demonstrated a commitment to customer service, safety, driver well being, courtesy, team work, problem solving and community service/volunteer work.

Mr. O’Hara, has been a dispatcher for 15 years and with Trimac Transportation Services Inc. (Sarnia branch) for four years. He is responsible for 33 owner-operators every day and dispatches trucks carrying liquid bulk products to destinations across North America.

He was selected to receive the award because of his outstanding customer service skills and his exceptional ability to work cooperatively with branch’s owner-operators.

The father of two sons resides in Oil Springs and is a volunteer fire fighter in that community.

At this morning’s ceremony, Mr. O’Hara was presented with a keepsake plaque and a cash award.
