(May 12, 1008) -- It’s Spring (at last), and students
are making and finalizing plans for their post-secondary studies for this
September. Part of that includes applying for scholarships to fund their tuition
and related university and college costs.
The OTA Education Foundation provides scholarships to
children of workers (including full-time contractors) in Ontario’s trucking
industry, including companies that provide products and services to motor
carriers. The Foundation has already begun to receive requests for scholarship
applications from students looking for financial assistance. We don’t want to
disappoint them, but we can’t do it without donations.
Donate to the OTA Education
Foundation:
Making a donation to the trucking industry’s
education foundation is an investment in the future of trucking. Your donations
make it possible for the Foundation to fund scholarships for children of
Ontario’s trucking industry. All contributors will be sent an application
package for the 2008/2009 academic year in advance of its general release to
share with their employees/sub-contractors. In addition, a charitable tax
receipt will be issued for each donation. Don’t delay. Link to Donation
