Road Knights Meet VIPs,
Visitors at Truck World
(April 25, 2008) – This month at Canada’s
national truck show, Truck World 2008, members of OTA’s Road Knights Team
met with VIPs and thousands of show during the three-day extravaganza. Truck
World 2008 took place at the International Centre in Toronto from April 17
– 19.
On the show’s opening day, the OTA booth was
visited by Ontario Minister of Transportation Jim Bradley who talked to the Road
Knights about the important work they do on the road safety front. Minister

The Road Knights are 10 professional truck drivers who
make presentations in the community about how to safely share the road with
trucks. OTA has operated the program since 1995 and over 70 drivers have served
as industry safety ambassadors.
During the three-day show, Road Knights shared
information about OTA services and product offerings with thousands of
attendees.
Truck World is the meeting place for Canada’s
trucking industry. The show features new products, new ideas, new solutions.
Visitors can enjoy 300,000 square feet of trucks, equipment and technology and
over 425 plus exhibitors. Canadian Trucking Alliance and Ontario Trucking
Association endorse the show.
