National Trucking Week

Canada's trucking industry, celebrates National Trucking Week annually from coast-to-coast. The purpose of the weeklong celebration is to recognize the important contributions made by the 400,000 Canadian men and women who keep the country's freight moving. In the year 2008, the event will be held nationally from September 7 - 14, 2008.

OTA Annual Convention

Annual gathering of trucking industry leaders. Event features an extensive seminar series, thought provoking speakers and dynamic entertainers.

Golf Tournaments

Hundreds of golfers enjoy the two golf tournaments held each year for OTA members and their guests. Golf days are held each spring and fall and are so popular they are frequently sold out. The spring and fall Golf Tournaments are hosted by the OTA Allied Trades Division.This event is an ideal way to spend the day entertaining customers or networking with other industry professionals. Ski Day

All OTA members are invited to spend a fabulous day on the slopes at Osler Bluff Ski Club in Collingwood. Ski Day is hosted by the OTA Allied Trades Division.This popular event is held every winter and is an excellent way to entertain customers, recognize valuable employees or bring you family for a day of fun. Ski Day features a fun race where the best and worst recorded times are awarded prizes. A hot lunch is served at noon. Then join new friends when Ski Day culminates in an Apres Ski reception where members and their guests can gather for hot hors d'oeuvres, and refreshments. Outreach Meetings

Regional outreach/information meeting are held several times a year throughout the province. At Outreach Meetings our staff specialists provide updates on important issues and answer questions members may have about issues affecting their operation. Meetings dates are announced in the newsletter.
