Truck Ferry Accepting Cross Border Wide Loads

(April 30, 2012) -- The Detroit-Windsor Truck Ferry says that it is an available crossing for all wide loads during construction on the Blue Water Bridge.

Due to construction, wide loads 14 feet and over will be restricted from crossing to the U.S. (westbound) on the Blue Water Bridge until June 7, 2012. 

The Truck Ferry, located near the Windsor-Detroit border, recently lowered its rates for oversize trucks. Scheduled crossing times and fees can be found here.
