Workplace Violence Training
OH&S in Canada specifies that employers must have a comprehensive
violence prevention program, including employee training.
Ministerial auditors routinely require training compliance records to
demonstrate participation and knowledge levels. The OTA
provides a turnkey Workplace Violence training solution that allows your
organization to comply with the law.
The program targets two key learner groups:
Workplace Violence - Essentials for All Staff After completing
this module, the participant will:
- Be familiar with your organization's legislative obligations to
maintain a violence and harassment-free workplace.
- Know more about workplace violence and harassment
- Have a detailed understanding of your corporate policy and
procedures to prevent workplace violence and harassment
- Know what steps to take if an employee is a victim of workplace
violence or other abusive behaviour
- Know how to effectively respond to complaints of workplace violence,
harassment and abuse
- Know how to promote and maintain a respectful workplace
Workplace Violence -Extension for Supervisors
After completing this module, the participant will:
