The ‘Transporting Dangerous Goods by Truck’ online training program is designed to deliver the maximum understanding of dangerous goods regulations in the most user-friendly and convenient format possible.

Who Should Attend:

The course is designed for new and experienced truck drivers, shippers and frontline supervisors/managers. Those who are experienced will appreciate the convenient reference guide.

The Course Covers:

  • Naming and classifying dangerous goods
  • Packaging dangerous goods
  • Identifying dangerous goods through the use of proper documentation, labeling and placarding
  • Dealing with accidental releases and other emergencies
  • Knowledge of the applicable Regulations and use of the Schedules in the Regulations

Cost:

$45 per trainee

  • Course can be completed within 4 to 6 hours of study depending on the trainees’ previous familiarity
    with dangerous goods regulations.

Classroom Training

THSAOThe ‘Transporting Dangerous Goods by Truck’ classroom training program is presented by the Transportation Health and Safety Association of Ontario.

Who Should Attend:

Personnel administering, handling, storing, and transporting dangerous goods.

Course Description:

This course of designed to train participants in their responsibilities under the law applicable to the safe handling, storing and transporting the nine classes of dangerous goods.

Participants are provided with an overview of the Dangerous Goods Act/Regulations and their application.

This course includes video presentation, group workshops and case studies, Each participants will be issued a participant's guide to work with the make notes. A wallet certificate will be issued to each participant at the completion of the course.

Cost:

$75 + $5.25 (GST) = $80.25

1/2 day course
